Description: Robert A. Larum, (1930-2023).Born in Norway. Larum came to the U.S. in 1948, becoming a ski & mountain climbing instructor for the army involved in Mountain & Cold Weather Command in Colorado springs & Camp Hale, Co. Following the military & while working as a stone mason, an injury allowed him to follow his dream of becoming a sculptor. He quickly established a reputation for his bronze equine sculptures which have been collected worldwide. Subjects of his work also include wildlife, dogs, farartist, dated 2009 & numbered 4/35. Sculpture measures 12″ x 4 1/2″ x 9 3/4″. Piece rests on, but is not attached to a 12 3/4″ x 6″ x 7/8″ granite platform.m animals & people.
