This is a gorgeous rendition in bronze of a mother bison cuddling and protecting her baby, while a ground squirrel or prairie dog look on from its hole in the ground by R. Rousu. The bronze has the WB symbol, is dated 1984, and signed by the author. It is mounted on an oak base with a green felt furniture protector underneath. Sanctuary is a magnificent piece sitting on a coffee table, hearth, or even on a tall pedestal.
