I Beam Steel Sculpture created by Steve Tobin. This is an early piece by sculptor and glass artist Steve Tobin, commissioned by his mentor, the late Philip Berman, chairman of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and renowned collection of Henry Moore. Inspiration was a Jewish cemetery in Prague. Composed of I Beam’s resourced from Allentown foundry nearby Tobin’s PA studio. Similar I Beam sculptures exist in the permanent collections of the Berman Museum, Ursinus College, and the Frost Art Museum.
