Colorado Pink Alabaster on Marble from Mexico. This sculpture was free carved from studying and photographing a neighbors prolific rose garden, while walking my mother. This 5 year study inspired a multitude of beautiful photos and several sculptures in a wide variety of stone. I often fantasized as a child that there were flowers on the moon… and I’m sure they were like this.
