Abe The Eagle Statue: Original Cast Iron 1930s, Case Corporation
This vintage original advertising statue is an iconic piece of American industrial advertising history, and is both highly coveted and extremely rare (fewer than 1,000 were ever produced). Any item featuring Abe the Eagle is highly sought after, but these rare statues are among the most prized of all. These statues were made in several different sizes, and this cast iron variation from the 1930s measures 5 feet tall, with a base diameter of 24 inches. The statue is of “Abe the Eagle”, which is based on the logo of Wisconsin’s 8th Volunteer Infantry Regiment, adopted in 1861. It is an American bald eagle with a white head and brown feathers perched on top of a globe of the earth, which sits on a round cast-iron base. This original Abe The Eagle statue is a true centerpiece item for even the largest farming memorabilia or Case Corporation collections, and is the type of item where once it’s gone, you may never come across another one for sale again.
