Installation Art

Installation art is an artistic genre of generally three-dimensional or sculptural works that are often site-specific and designed to work with space and its perception. In general, the term is applied to interior spaces, although in exterior spaces they are can be called public art, land art, or an art intervention. The differences between the various installations from a definition standpoint can be sometimes confusing and is not always exact!
