About Gary Lee Price
Gary Lee Price’s sculptures are renowned for their ability to capture the human spirit and inspire the viewer. His bronzes, which can be found in prestigious locations around the world, depict scenes of children reading, playing, and celebrating life in a joyful and uplifting manner.
The Hong Kong Central Library features 12 of Price’s life-size bronze sculptures, including figures of young readers, children releasing doves, and others playing with shells or holding flowers. Additionally, two large frog sculptures stand as sentinels at the entrance to the children’s library.
Price’s 11-foot sculpture “Celebration!” features joyous children soaring around a globe, celebrating life. This work was first unveiled in Surrey, England and has since been dedicated in Decatur, Georgia by former First Lady Rosalyn Carter. A 22-foot version of the same sculpture stands at the entrance of NuSkin International’s corporate headquarters in Provo, Utah.
Thousands of Price’s sculptures can be found in public and private collections worldwide. His works include a 12-foot angel “Messenger” monument in Iceland honoring early immigrants to the U.S., and the 15-foot “Communion” sculpture of grasping hands at the United Methodist Church in Brentwood, Tennessee.
The hand motif is a recurring theme in Price’s work, as seen in pieces like “Synergy”, “Helping Hand”, “Ascent”, and “Circle of Peace”, reflecting his focus on uplifting, helping, and joining with others.
