Messenger Fired Clay sculpture – People on benches has been a repeating theme in my work over the years. Benches for me capture a moment in time sometimes between people who are very close and sometimes between strangers. The woman on this bench sculpture sits alone and seems quite settled on her bench and yet she is called by a small bird to look beyond the moment.
