Visitation –
When I am not working on my sculptures in my studio, I am often doing art there, with my grandchildren. Their imaginings, feelings, experiences fill their art and influenced me in making this piece. Often children see what we do not see, fear what might be under the bed, and have unworldly visions. This small bench piece plays with these ideas. I imagine it happily sitting on a shelf in a child’s room.
